Svetlana Terekhina

Short biography:


1989 Graduated from the Art School, Chelyabinsk, Russia.

1989-1994 Studied at Chelyabinsk Art College, pedagogical department, professor V.N. Soloviev.

1994-1998 Worked as a painting teacher at the Fine arts studio for children affiliated to the all-Russia public fund “Zashchita” (“Protection”).

1998-1999 Worked as a painting professor at Chelyabinsk Art College.

2001-2008 Studied at the painting department of Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture, Saint-Petersburg.

2004 Led the museum practical workshop at the Saint-Petersburg State Museum (the Hermitage).

2008 Presented thesis project “The Nurse”. Was invited to teach at the creative workshop to the “Academic Summer House” art center, where she worked under the guidance of academician A.P. Levitan. 

2010 Joined the Union of Russian artists.

2010 Worked as a painting professor, Chelyabinsk, Russia

2013 till present day Resident instructor of painting and drawing at the Florence Classical Arts Academy.




2006: Solo-exhibition at the “House of architects”, Chelyabinsk city.

2006: Participated in the “Anniversary student exhibition” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Chelyabinsk Art College, the exhibition hall of the “Union of Russian artists”, Chelyabinsk city.

2008: Participated in the regional art exhibition “Ural”, Chelyabinsk city

2009: Participated in art exhibition “Russia”, Moscow

2010: Participated in the art exhibition devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Chelyabinsk regional department of the “Union of Russian artists”.

2012: Exhibition “Russian provinces”.

2012: Solo-exhibition at the building of municipal administration of the city of Chelyabinsk.
