Third Year Where Academic Training Becomes Professional Art
The third year of the Florence Classical Arts Academy Online Program is the stage where knowledge transforms into professional mastery.
By this point students already command the constructive method, understand form, volume, and proportion, and are ready to work with the human figure at a professional level in drawing, painting, composition, and anatomy.
During the year students tackle the most important challenges of academic art:
• Portrait drawing and painting
• Portraits with hands
• Structural studies of knees and feet
• Figure drawing and figure painting
• Pastel still life and plaster cast head
• Anatomy for Artists
• Composition as artistic thinking
• Copies of Old Masters
• Plein air painting in the mountains and by the sea
The program is designed to develop not only technical skill, but independent artistic thinking.
Anatomy becomes a living tool for drawing and painting, while composition guides the structure, rhythm, and meaning of every work.
By the end of the third year, students are capable of approaching complex professional tasks portraits, figure painting, and multi-figure compositions with confidence and clarity.

Tuition for Mastery program can be paid as a one-time fee, or in three equal installments.
Independent mode must be paid as one-time fee.
